URI - Orientation (2004)
When the University of Rhode Island's department of New Student Programs needed a brand new image for their Orientation website, they came to summit7solutions. The new site was to incorporate a new look and feel, new layout and structure, as well as new content and goals. Working with ideas from over thirty people, this site was created on a tight deadline for the upcoming class of new students at the University. The site lived up to its expectations and much more -- it is the first thing that incoming URI students see, and something that leaves them not only feeling comfortable, but informed and excited. The site has been a huge success, and Dean Libutti, the Director of University College and New Student Programs has nothing but positive feedback.

Connal Physical Therapy Group
For years, summit7solutions has been performing maintenance on the website after their previous webmaster was fired. We actively maintain the current site, perform all domain administration tasks, perform duties as their technical consultant, and manage the e-mail forwarding system. Upon being hired, we recommended a strategy and upon approval moved the site to a new hosting provider, saving the company money, and causing no downtime in the process. We currently perform regular updates of the site upon request. In 2004 a full site redesign commenced, designed to enhance their business position and marketability.

Additional responsibilities have included a complete VPN / Firewall rollout connecting seven remote offices and multiple roaming users to the main office securely and efficiently. URI - Housing and Residential Life
This multi-faceted job focused on creating a web-enabled Housing Application, as well as a complete revamp of the HRL website. Built in PHP, using MySQL, and running on Apache with OpenSSL for data security, the system reliably collects, stores, and exports data to University systems. After successful trials, the system is slated to be used by all incoming students. Additionally, the new look and feel of the site enables more efficient and effective communication with students and parents alike, and the creation of a CMS (Content Management System) made for easy maintenance of the site, both by those with HTML experience and those with none.
