We pride ourselves on the connections we create, and the services we offer. We have relationships with independent consultants, specializing in a wide range of technologies and solutions. Below are four primary consultants; if your business requires services not listed below, we will bring in others.
Jeff Wilhelm
CEO, Director of Technical Operations
Jeff specializes in the technological operations requirements of the 21st century business. Whether it is needs assessment, internet development, or network and server technologies, Jeff has worked with companies in a range of industries addressing their information technology needs. From LIMRA International and Thales Broadcast & Multimedia, to educational institutions such as the University of Rhode Island, tech companies such as MarketModels, and a diverse range of other businesses, he has been consulting in all aspects of technology since the mid-1990's.
Jeff has also done beta testing work for companies such as Iomega, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard and Jabra in usability, interface design, and product functionality. Building internet applications, interactive websites, consulting on technological business direction, and implementation of advanced technologies are some of his fortes.
Fluent in technologies ranging from the scripting languages ASP and PHP to XML development, Jeff is also versed in Oracle and other database systems as well as firewall installation, VPN configuration, network architecture, and a myriad of business-enabling technologies. Years of specific business experience enable him to advise your company in any technical aspect.
Jeff has taken classes at the University of Rhode Island and the University of Connecticut, and is a cum laude graduate with a Management Information Systems degree from URI.
Sean McCormick
CFO, Sales and Account Manager
Sean is a consultant specializing in Accounting with a primary focus in Merchant Relations. Specializing in Merchant Relations, Sean was a primary catalyst in turning his parents' small family business into a small retail pet store chain in lower Fairfield County. Sean has worked for John Robert Powers Modeling and Entertainment Company as their Head Talent Scout, before embarking on a new and exciting business relationship with Northeast Tent Productions. After being promoted to Production Manager for Northeast Tent he led their Web Development department to new highs. With the entrepreneurial fire deeply rooted, Sean decided to co-found The 25th Hour, where he succeeded as the company's Chief Financial Officer, before selling the company in late 2003. While attending the University of Rhode Island Sean was offered a job as an Accountant for the National Employment Benefit Companies. Sean moved up the corporate ladder quickly landing himself a position as their Account Executive for large group insurance. Sean is a great asset to summit7solutions as he serves as our Chief Financial Officer, as well as heading our Customer Relations / Account Management department.
Jacob Goldman
VP Operations, eVolvEd eLearning Division
Before merging his efforts with summit7solutions, Jake ran his own new media / I.S. solutions consulting business, "Media Complete Consulting," for over 5 years. Jake and his team developed innovative solutions ranging from promotional videos to Internet and local database applications. Jake's expertise in e-learning system development came out of a R&D project funded by a university grant. The "eVolvEd" service and platform matured out of perceived needs from extensive industry analysis, and has been applied with very favorable reviews.
Jake presently works for Advanced Solutions for Tomorrow Inc. (ASFT) as part of a small team tasked with solving unique design engineer challenges. He also sits on a project think tank and assists in running an introductory Flash workshop. In addition to his experience in corporate and government contracting (ASFT) and private consulting, Jake sits on the board of directors of a non-profit organization, has worked in the health care industry at Hartford Hospital, and has experience in the business services industry at LIMRA International Corp.
A Summa Cum Laude graduate from the University of Rhode Island, he earned a BS in Management Information Systems, minors in Film Studies and Economics, and fulfilled the honors program. Jake has been honored with numerous awards for his leadership and achievement, including a scholarship from the premiere business honors society, a URI President's Award, and two scholarships from the Hillel Foundation.
Danielle Dangoia
Director of Marketing
Danielle is a consultant specializing in marketing communications and corporate image management. A summa cum laude graduate in Marketing and Management Information Systems (MIS) at the University of Rhode Island, she has the profound ability to understand your businesses marketing, as well as technological needs.
The ability to understand these two crucial aspects of a business allows her to take your ideas, needs, and wants and transform them into an integrated marketable tool for your business to operate more effectively and profitably. She will initiate and oversee the coordination of your project throughout its lifecycle; from strategic definition through implementation and follow-up.
Aimée Phelps
Consultant
Aimée is an independent consultant specializing in Leadership, Human Resource Management, and Organization Development based in Newport, RI. She serves clients ranging in size from 10-150,000 employees in the consulting, financial, power, defense, electronics and human services industries worldwide. As a consultant, she has worked on a broad spectrum of HR and management issues and programs in corporate and not-for-profit environments. She also designs and delivers training programs on a range of topics, including leadership; facilitation; leadership and management skills; communication; process improvement; team startup and intervention; change management and MBTI.
Aimée has also developed and led leadership development initiatives, led entry level recruiting efforts, and led HR development as a generalist for a fast-growing global business. As a Manager of Training she managed a $2 million annual budget and developed a comprehensive training curriculum for high potential employees. Other experiences include leading a national not-for-profit focused on teen communication, leading staffing initiatives for a corporate financial institution and coaching not-for-profit leaders on transforming their organizations.
In addition to her consulting business, Aimée has acted as an adjunct faculty member at Salve Regina University teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Business Studies Department. She also teaches continuing education courses in business and is an undergraduate Lecturer at the University of Rhode Island.
Aimée received her MBA from Cornell University and her BA in Sociology from Miami University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Management at the University of Rhode Island College of Business Administration.
Chris Tremblay
Consultant
Chris is one of our highly-technical employees, with the experience that counts. A URI Computer Science graduate in May 2003, he is skilled in Java and C++ as well as HTML, PHP, ASP, MYSQL, PERL, Javscript, and other languages. He has worked for companies such as CVS, where he worked on the new pharmacy software, called TechRx where he used Java's Swing package to help build the GUI. He has also done work with ASC (American Systems Corportation) as a Systems Engineer, where he consultanted mainly for the Department of Depfense, specializing in nuclear submarines test engineering for computer systems and networks on the boat.
Tim Feeley
Consultant
Tim Feeley is a Computer Science major at the University of Rhode Island who currently manages websites for the University of Rhode Island's Computer Science department, Communications department and several local-area businesses. In addition to web design, his work also includes developing solutions for growing business to automate tedious and time-sensitive tasks using server-side technologies and database connectivity.
Tim's development experience includes 5 years of Visual Basic (COM/ActiveX), Active Server Pages, PHP, Java as well as database design and development using MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Access databases. On occasion, it has been rumored that Tim is a part-time human being. A focus on communications in secondary education and college allows Tim to augment the phraseology of any project, leaving a well-developed and well-versed final deliverable.
Tim will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2005 and plans to pursue his Masters in Computer Science.
